This course is designed to equip primary school educators with a comprehensive understanding of the early literacy development process, emphasizing the identification of challenges and the implementation of effective strategies for support. The course consists of four modules, each addressing key factors influencing literacy achievement from cognitive to societal and technological perspectives.
Throughout the course, teachers will engage in interactive lectures, group discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities designed to bridge theory and practice. The course is underpinned by evidence-based methodologies and draws on the latest research to provide teachers with a robust toolkit for supporting early literacy in diverse classrooms.
